As stated in the press release:

As part of the Frank Lloyd Wright Foundations yearlong celebration of the 75th anniversary of Taliesin West, Frank Lloyd Wright’s desert masterpiece in Scottsdale, Arizona, the Foundation is hosting a reception on February 16th at the Phoenix Art Museum. The reception will feature a keynote address by Vernon Swaback, award-winning architect, author of nine books and Frank Lloyd Wright’s youngest apprentice.

Taliesin West, Wright’s personal winter home, studio, and architectural campus is a National Historic Landmark and embodies the architects philosophy and vision of design inspired by nature. The Phoenix Art Museum is also hosting a commemorative exhibit, “Frank Lloyd Wright: Organic Architecture for the 21st Century,” through April 29, 2012. The exhibit explores seven decades of Wright’s work through his lifetime and the legacy of his innovative design.

WHAT: Reception celebrating the 75th anniversary of Taliesin West, Frank Lloyd Wright’s desert masterpiece in Scottsdale, Arizona. Guests will have the opportunity to visit the Phoenix Art Museum, walk through the exhibit, “Frank Lloyd Wright: Organic Architecture for the 21st Century,” and hear from Vernon Swaback and music from Khani Cole.

WHO: Speaker: Vernon D. Swaback, FAIA, FAICP, world-renowned leader in the architectural community.

Music: Khani Cole, Recoded and appeared with Jazz legends such as Brian Bromberg, George Benson and Joey Di Francesco, among others.

WHEN: Thursday, February 16, 2012; 5:30 p.m. – 9:30 p.m.
