The skyscraper will be retracted six meters (20 feet) from the facade of the existing car park in order to preserve its famous structure designed by Hans Asplund. The 40-story high building will be built using cross-laminated timber (CLT), with 33 floors protruding above the car park. Residential units will occupy 32 floor, which two floors will operate as public terraces. Distributed across the seven floors of the car park will be shopping areas, restaurants and cafes.
