Austin’s restaurant scene got a little hotter this year, with the July opening of Boiler Nine Bar + Grill, which occupies part of the historic Seaholm Power Plant. The 1950 art deco power plant, in the heart of the downtown district, celebrated the first chapter of its new life as the restaurant opened. With 11,000 square feet of ground floor space, Boiler Nine is the only part of the renovated power plant open to the public at this point.
