The Frederick Law Olmsted Society of Riverside recently announced their 2014 Housewalk. America’s first planned suburb, Riverside, Illinois, is a pastoral, walkable community with homes of varied architectural styles and vintages. “Sustainability: Then and Now” features homes ranging from Victorian, Arts & Crafts and Mid-Century modern to contemporary green-build construction, with an emphasis on sustainable materials and design.
