MVRDV has broken ground on an ambitious urban conversion project in Hong Kong's newly-designated business center, East Kowloon. The revitalization strategy's first step includes transforming former warehouse space into the contemporary Cheung Fai building,

MVRDV has broken ground on an ambitious urban conversion project in Hong Kong‘s newly-designated business center, East Kowloon. The revitalization strategy’s first step includes transforming former warehouse space into the contemporary Cheung Fai building, which will feature “luxurious loft-style” office space. During the construction process, the 14-story concrete structure will be given a modern glass and stainless steel makeover, and when it is complete, it will offer up to 37 affordable office units.
