Unlike the typical family home, the 6,700-square-foot Desert Arroyo house is divided into a series of low-profile rectilinear forms. The collection of buildings is carefully arranged around a natural gully that bisects the site and floods with water during the spring’s Monsoon storms. Bridges connect the three primary structures.
