Canadian-based MacKay-Lyons Sweetapple Architects have added on a spectacular timber-clad spa and gym to their House 22, built in 1998. Found of the firm, Brian Mackay-Lyons was elected as the 2015 recipient of the Royal Architectural Institute of Canada Gold Medal for his "pure, dignified, poetic and beautiful" style.
