The Journal Gazette reports that the Fort Wayne city Historic Preservation Commission unanimously voted that the Frank Lloyd Wright-designed John Haynes House will keep its historic designation, despite the efforts of its current owner to have it de-listed. Several organizations spoke out or sent letters in favor of the house keeping its designation, including local preservation groups like ARCH and the Frank Lloyd Wright Building Conservancy.
