First spotted in California Home + Design magazine: the Potrero Hill flat of Brazilian-born, Swiss-schooled, San Francisco-based designer Antonio Martins . Martins has lived and worked in Hong Kong, Argentina, and Bangkok, and his international approach is on view throughout his interiors. To see more, go to Antonio Martins . Above: Martins fell for the flat because it features original details (the hardware is intact) and abundant light. Above: An original O’Keefe & Merritt stove anchors the kitchen; Martins stained the floors and added stainless steel shelving and counter units to update the look. Above: A pair of vintage Hans Wegner Papa Bear armchairs, clad in muslin, occupies the TV room. Above: A marble-topped chest in the guest room. Above: In the guest bedroom, the walls are covered in gray fabric Above: The bath features a rustic table repurposed as a sink. N.B.: This post is an update; the original story ran on May 11, 2012.    Considered Design Awards: Vote for Your Favorites in Each Category Once a Day Remodelista Reader Finalists Remodelista Professional Finalists Gardenista Finalists Best Dining Space Best Dining Space Best Architectural Feature Best Office Space Best Office Space Best Indoor Garden Best Kitchen Space Best Kitchen Space Best Urban Garden Best Bath Space Best Bath Space Best Edible Garden Best Bedroom Space Best Bedroom Space Best Outdoor Room   Best Children’s Space
