Wouldn't it be helpful to have 'emergency kits' already spread over an endangered area if a natural catastrophe happens? This is the story of 'Pocket House' - a Regeneration Project in Tohoku Region in Japan.

Wouldn’t it be helpful to have ‘emergency kits’ already spread over an endangered area if a natural catastrophe happens? This is the story of ‘Pocket House’ – a Regeneration Project in the Tohoku Region of Japan. A wooden modular system with multiple uses, the versatile kit helped create a new identity for the disaster-stricken urban environment of Yabuki Town in Fukushima Prefecture, and could do the same for future such communities.
