I live in a building of eight one-bedroom units, none of which have enough space for a laundry room. My upstairs neighbors, a young couple with two children under the age of five, were desperate for a washer/dryer, so they turned their tiny breakfast nook into a laundry room. In our flat, the breakfast nook functions as my musician boyfriend's studio (something I initially leveraged while bargaining for the main closet). After seeing our neighbor's clever setup, I'm thinking about reopening our nook negotiations. To get inspired, here are 10 laundry rooms we like: Above: A laundry room via Living in Design Land .
