There is something to be said for post and beam construction, simple layouts and unfinished wooden interiors. These houses capture the simplicity of design and finish level that we will need to strive for on the 100k house. Check out the sited links for more images and commentary. You may notice some of these homes from the “25 houses under 1500 Square Feet” book or others in the same series of books.
