Confession of a Doufus Blogger
Editorial Rating:
First, before I say anything else, I must thank Greg Lavardera and Marshall for their patience and support as I flounder in developing this blog. Their overall kindness and positive vibe motivates me to persevere in putting up these entries; as have the kind words of the few who persist in reading me. Thanks. Words make my livelihood and I have always believed in the importance of written communication.
This blog suffers from continuing format and image posting issues and it's only that I am a complete dolt that I haven't been able to fix it. Despite, being moderately well-educated and not technically challenged, and despite herculean effort on my part, I have been very frustrated in trying to polish this blog.
For those of you who remain interested in the photos referenced in my two preceding entries, please have a look at my personal blog, where I have been posting these entries as well:

The composition still isn't perfect, but the photos show up in order and reflect well that which I love about the Washington State Coast.

You almost had it...
I'll admit the blog software is not as intuitive as it should be, and we can even look at replacing it with something much better as soon as we finish converting the forums (later this month), but you were almost there with posting your images.
First, no need to insert space in your blog entry for the pics, that's done automatically. Then I assume you are using Epoz for your editor. If so, go to the point in your text where you want to insert an image and click. Then click on the insert image icon in the tool bar (it's the blank page). Enter the relative URL of the picture (the entire URL without the http://members.livemodern.com part). Example: /Members/tres_arboles/tres_arboles_blog/ourlotfromssa would publish the image with the short name ourlotfromssa. Since you have uploaded all of your images in the same place, all you need to do is replace the last part of that URL when you want to insert other images.
Hope that helps.
Marshall
