Trusses were delivered: the house now has a hat! pictures...

&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Trusses were delivered and braced into place, ready to roll out and fill in.&nbsp; It's amazing now to see the house take on its full size in the lot.&nbsp; Neighbors come by, crane their necks as they go by.... <br>&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Each truss that's up is actuallly 4, braced together and waiting to be separated and rolled along the beam supporting it to its place.&nbsp; On the house floor are prepared braces, ready to go up and keep the trusses in place.&nbsp; All this is due to happen tomorrow, when a crew is due to arrive.&nbsp; <br>&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; For a full slideshow of the trusses being delivered, you can go to my website at http://homepage.mac.com/mtmcmillan.<br><br>&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Here is a picture of the first truss being lifted off the crane, onto the house:<br><img src="truss1"><br><br>And here is the house, looking from the west, with all the trusses in place:<br><img src="truss2"><br><br>more next this weekend, or next week....<br>
