Toyota has a comprehensive website of home designs showing technical details, and aesthetic options. The entire site is in Japanese, and it appears the offering of the homes is limited to Japan. And for the most part, these houses have a modern feel.

The marketing effort here, the explanation of the features of the house, it is all very similar to the marketing of automobiles. This is a wake-up call to the big consumer product manufacturer's in the USA. Toyota is leveraging one of the best consumer brands to expand into the housing market. Can you think of many brands with a better reputation in the USA?
