Modern in Granbury, TX - Part III
Editorial Rating:
We are planning on submitting the preliminary plans and drawings to the Architectural Control Committee of the development. Hopefully they like them as much as I do! If you are not a spiritual person, you will be after looking at Jon's sketch of the front of our home! Wow!:

Looks really good-
I'm currently working on a design for my parents' retirement house and it's shocking how similar your design is to mine. Pardon me for asking, but do you have a budget in mind? With my folks, they know they want about 2500-3000 on one floor, and we're pretty early in schematic design, but they have not given me a firm budget yet, so I can't really go much further. I've been telling them to expect $200/sf. I imagine their cap will end up around $400,000. So there's the problem. We live in Kansas City, Missouri, so I imagine the building environment (conditions and costs) are probably not so different. If you don't want to mention on a public forum, you can PM me at rasher@vectorscope.net. Thanks, and good luck, your site is truly beautiful.
I would like to talk to you about your architect/designer.
Can you please email me at colemcconnell@coleconstructiongroup.com

AWESOME!!
That is a beautiful design - congrats and best of luck on the approval and build process!
