a steel framing and SIP house

schusterHOUSE represents an attempt at crafting a highly rated sustainable home from alternative building techniques. The design of the house is a direct response to the specificities of the site and climate, all the while acting as a stage from which the day to day inhabitation will be performed. To that end the house modulates the climate and terrain of the site, opening up to the landscape and inviting it in, and placing the inhabitants at various vantage points from which to view the land over the course of the day.
