On July 5th, we received 18 comments from the City of Los Angeles on our soils report. There is no doubt that the comments were written by highly educated and somewhat overreaching soils engineers.
It's really nice to see the City of Los Angeles have so much concern about our safety and the safety of those around us...If only they would just expend the same amount of energy fixing potholes and replacing street trees.
In other news, our permit and bid set is almost done. We will be submitting for permits in two weeks and going out for grading and foundation bids next week.
Hopefully we'll be under construction in September???

any progress...
...is good progress (borrowing from the "public relations" world). Most of the time, simple attention will keep many of us happy.
Looking forward to further progress in the fall, hopefully sooner...
