Gingerbread House

I may never become an architect, so this may be as close as I get to designing and building my own modern house... and talk about affordable! I wonder how long Necco Waffers would last as a roofing material.
Here is a phote of the gingerbread house I built for Christmas. I see lots of possibilities for doing a Tadeo Ando like house out of gingerbead, but without lots of candy decoration, a gingerbread house isn't much fun.
