A Glidehouse™ modern modular home will be the featured exhibit at this year’s Vancouver Home and Interior Design Show, October 13-16 in Vancouver, BC. Make your plans now to attend this showing, as well as tour Vancouver itself (a wonderful city!). This will be the best opportunity this fall to view a Michelle Kaufmann Designs home.

The Glidehouse that will be on display is destined to be installed near Seattle, but the owners have graciously allowed it to make this intermediate stop. This is a standard 2-br with Views Glidehouse, with a detached studio, and features all of the quality construction and finishes that are the hallmark of each and every MKD home.

We are proud to show the Glidehouse at Vancouver.  All MKD homes are private residences, and we work with every owner to show their homes.  But we also respect their privacy. No Breezehouse is currently scheduled to be shown for the rest of this year, nor are there any Michelle Kaufmann Designs modern modular homes scheduled to be shown in the San Francisco or Los Angeles areas for the rest of this year. They are built, but they are also all private homes. So, if you are in the market soon, and waiting to see an MKD home before you decide, this is your best opportunity for a while.

Though this is a different design from the Breezehouse, the Glidehouse shares the same "clean and green" architectural program and is built in the same factory as a Breezehouse. Thus you'll be able to personally witness the same high quality construction and many of the same features and finishes that are available for the Breezehouse. I am sure you will be favorably impressed.

Michelle Kaufmann and her staff will be at the open house to answer any questions you may have about Michelle Kaufmann Designs homes.

Complete details for the Vancouver Home and Garden Show, including show schedule and entry fees, are available through links at:

No reservations are necessary for this open house.  We recommend that you visit us on Thursday or Friday if at all possible (there won’t be many lines). If you can’t make it until the weekend, it’s best to come early or late on either of those days. And if you’re coming up from the States, don’t forget your passport!
