Michelle Kaufmann Designs is a group of thoughtful architects and designers interested in making well-designed buildings through using sustainable methods and materials. MKD is a full-service architectural firm specializing exclusively in creating modern designs for modular building technology.


LiveModern has had the privilege of being the primary marketing and sales representative for Michelle Kaufmann Designs since they first introduced the Glidehouse in 2003.

In fact, Michelle Kaufmann Designs and LiveModern grew up together, as brother and sister entrepreneurs, to become market leaders in their respective market niches in the movement for modern and sustainable design in housing.
