Harry Wakefield, the force behind the excellent Moco Loco website, sent us this post today.

From Harry Wakefield, via email:
At quarter to midnite last night my hosting company,
Hostway, suspended my hosting account, and my email
account, for alleged spamming. When I spoke with their
"24/7" technical support, I was told the issue could
not be resolved until Monday at 9AM (when the person
responsible shows up for work). I was also told I was
sent an email at 11:16PM on Friday to advise me of the
imminent shutdown - to my Hostway hosted email
account, which they shut down... In sum, my website
was shut down at quarter to midnite on a Friday, and
they sent me an email to warn me to the email account
they host, which they shut down, and it can't be
resolved until Monday at 9AM. I'm not a happy camper.

As you may know, domains and email accounts can be
hijacked by spammers with the result I just described.
I abhor spam. In fact, I don't even have a newsletter
and I use a spam service, Spamarrest, to try to
control spam. I am not a spammer. Which I will make
perfectly clear to Hostway on Monday at 9AM. In the
meantime, MoCo Loco is offline and there's nothing I
can do about it until Monday. With the exception of
asking you to please post an item to tell your readers
of my plight.

Thank you in advance for your support.

Hopefully Harry can get this situation resolved without too much more hassle. What a way to spend a holiday weekend. Hang in there, Harry.
