The Sunset Breezehouse modular home, a collaboration between Sunset and Michelle Kaufmann Designs, aims to sell for approximately $150 per square foot (factory cost, FOB), or roughly $270,000. The first Sunset Breezehouse modular home will be assembled at Sunset headquarters—fully furnished—to debut at Celebration Weekend, May 21-22, 2005 in Menlo Park, CA. Previews for sponsors, contributors, and the media will be held before opening to the public. The Sunset Breezehouse modular home will remain at Sunset for approximately one month after Celebration Weekend for regularly scheduled tours. The first Sunset Breezehouse modular home, the show home for Sunset's Celebration Weekend, was recently offered for sale on LiveModern, and sold within very quickly. We built the first Glidehouse modern modular home for Sunset in no time flat last year, and we will do it again for the Sunset Breezehouse this year.
