The 3,065 sf, 2-story home is designed to be built within the standard framework of a 60' by 40' pre-engineered steel building, hence the name. But as the 6040 floor plans show, it is also designed to provide a feeling of loft-like space and light.
The 6040 House is the first in a series of modern residential designs by Greg La Vardera to be produced by Northern Steel, as part of its EcoSteel™ residential pre-engineered steel building system. The line will utilize the existing industrial infrastructure, manufacturing and installation network, and economy of scale of the pre-engineered building industry.
