Bonnie wanted this photo of the persimmon tree (one of several we saw in the area), but later realized we got the palm tree as well—such an exotic array of plant life! Of course, we also liked the 3-wheeled truck, everwhere in the countryside. The arch leads to La Ferrier, the "ironworks."
