Roland Reisley, an original resident of this distinctive neighborhood of homes, has graciously donated his time and first-hand knowledge in planning this important and exciting event about Usonia.
The morning will begin in the lobby and Theater Gallery of the Neuberger Museum of Art with breakfast and a lecture by Mr. Reisley. Guests will proceed to Usonia for an approximate 10:30 am arrival to enjoy a three-hour tour of five homes in Usonia. They will learn about the important significance of this innovative housing design.
The day will culminate with lunch in Armonk. Patrons will then have the opportunity to visit The Studio art gallery, which coincidentally has an outstanding exhibition on the development of Usonia. For more information please visit www.thestudiony-alternative.org. The Studio is located at 2 Maryland Avenue in Armonk.
